On July 30 of this year, a videotape appeared on the internet, where Vahe Yeghiazaryan is beating a transgender woman, while shouting profanities during a live broadcast, causing them physical and mental injuries, in the area of the Rossiya Cinema in Yerevan.

Following the accident, the Right Side Human Rights Defender NGO issued a statement, while the president of the Organization, Lilit Martirosyan, filed a report to the police.
As we learned from the investigation department of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative district of Yerevan City Department of RA Investigative Committee, based on the report submitted by Lilit Martirosyan, criminal proceedings were initiated under 194 (psychological influence) and 330 (public calls for violence, publicly justifying or advocating violence, as well as distributing materials or objects for that purpose) articles of the RA Criminal Code.
