JOB ANNOUNCEMENT/ ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER

The Right Side Human Rights Defender NGO has a vacant position of Administrative Manager.

Working days and hours: Monday-Friday, 12:00-19:00

Duration: 1-year contract with possibility of renewal (probation period: 1 month)

Place of work: Yerevan (center), Republic of Armenia

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Ensures the timely organization and compliance of procurement processes and procedures, implementation following the requirements of the employer and donor organizations,
  2. Studies the market for required products, periodic study and analysis of market prices, making requests and formulating orders,
  3. Does comparative analysis of the best price and product offers from suppliers, conducting negotiations with suppliers in coordination with the president of the organization. Implements and controls negotiation processes regarding the prices, terms, and other points of the contract,
  4. Prepares the purchase plan by coordinating with the president,
  5. Organizes passenger transportation and/or cargo transportation,
  6. Prepares relevant documents, and implements other works arising from this position,
  7. Bears responsibility for the preservation of the organization’s property,
  8. Carries out administrative works, documentation, and archiving,
  9. Organizes the payment processes for utility services of the organization,
  10. Take inventory of the company’s products,
  11. Plans and organizes meetings,
  12. Registrates working hours, manages timesheet, calculates monthly hours,
  13. Controls the technical uninterrupted operation of the organization, and follow safety,
  14. Follows labor protection standards, fire safety rules, and sanitary standards,
  15. Uses the basics of psychology and professional ethics when working with personnel, is gender-sensitive, and has experience working with LGBTIQ individuals,
  16. Complies with the established requirements of the organization’s charter and internal disciplinary rules,
  17. Carries out other assignments given by the president of the organization.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, SKILLS

  1. Knowledge of MC Office,
  2. Excellent knowledge of Armenian and English languages, knowledge of Russian will be considered as an advantage,
  3. High level of interpersonal relations, telephone management, and office etiquette skills,
  4. Necessary knowledge of legal acts related to one’s powers, as well as the ability to reason, orient oneself in different situations,
  5. Work planning skills,
  6. Ability to complete assigned tasks/goals properly and within set deadlines.
