JOB ANNOUNCEMENT/ PROGRAM ASSISTANT
Right Side Human Rights Defender NGO announces a competition for the vacant position of Program Assistant.
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 12:30-18:30
Duration: contractual (1 year with the possibility of extension)
Trial period: 1 month
Place of work: Yerevan (center), Republic of Armenia
JOB DUTIES:
- To support the operations and implementation of the current programs of the organization by fulfilling the assignments of the program manager and the head of the organization.
- To be responsible for the planning and implementing works arising from the activities of the programs, to make work plans arising from the activities.
- To coordinate the program activities’ relevant components on the project manager’s instructions.
- Inform the program manager about all possible risks and obstacles related to the program results. Prepare program reports on the work done.
- To represent the organization and programs at various meetings and conferences with the approval of the project manager.
- Provide practical support to the project manager during the day-to-day implementation of all project activities
- Organize, present, and maintain the project’s current document flow
- Develop and foster effective working relationships between partners and partner institutions as well as with beneficiaries, and create and maintain a harmonious collaborative atmosphere.
- Make minutes of meetings and assemblies. Create meeting and meeting calendar plans using online tools.
- To be involved in the programs that are considered a priority for the organization at that moment, for coordination, administrative work, and creating content materials.
- Contribute to the smooth, uninterrupted, and professional work of the organization, ensuring high quality of work, respect for deadlines, and a responsible attitude towards assignments.
- Participate in weekly work meetings and seminars.
- To participate in the identification and analysis of problems of strategic and organizational importance of the organization, in the work of providing their solutions.
- To carry out other assignments given by the president of the organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Higher education in management, communication, or similar fields.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in project and program coordination.
- High level of written and spoken knowledge of Armenian and English.
- Responsibility for deadlines and their observance.
- Ability to work in a team, and cooperative principles at work.
- Skills and abilities to solve problems peacefully.
- Multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with LGBTIQ people, compliance with the organization’s values, excluding transphobia and homophobia.
- Knowledge of MC Office,
- Skills to implement the assigned tasks/goals with proper quality and within the specified time.
