On August 31, 2022, the official opening of the new office and the Trans LGBIQ Community Safe Space of the Right Side Human Rights Defender NGO was made possible with the support of the Dutch Government, international organizations and individuals.

The opening was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Nicholas Schermers, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland John Gallagher, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden Patrik Svensson, Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia Kristine Grigoryan, diplomatic missions, representatives of international and local (civil society) organizations, Trans LGBIQ people, their parents and allies.

We are happy to inform that the LGBTIQ community, their family members, community supporters have the opportunity to receive legal and psychological consultations and support at the NGO, to participate in various educational, awarness raising, entertainment meetings and discussions in the community center, to learn about NGO activities, and to take advantage of the opportunity to participate in computer and foreign language courses at the resource center.

We hope that our newly opened center will make a significant contribution to the process of establishing equality in Armenia.
