On December 14, 2018, “Right Side” human rights defender NGO organized a roundtable discussion on “Sexual and reproductive health and rights of transgender people in Armenia”. The meeting was organized within the framework of the project “Mainstreaming the needs of trans people in Sexual and  Reproductive healthcare programming in Armenia” funded by the Eurasian Key Populations Health Network.

The meeting was attended by the staff of  “Right Side” human rights defender NGO, the Executive Director of the “Eurasia Key Population Health Network “, the Ambassador of England to Armenia Judith Farnworth and policy support officer Mariam Baghdasaryan, the Head of the Psycho-Social Counselling Department of the National Center for AIDS Marine Asryan, President of “Equal Opportunities” Humanitarian NGO Sam Ghukasyan and other honorable guests.

The solemn opening of the meeting was made by Lilit Martirosyan, the founder  president of the “Right Side” human rights defender NGO. The Program and Policy Officer of “Right Side” human rights defender NGO presented the survey and the outcome recommendations. An informative video shot on the basis of the research was also presented. The Public Relations and Communications Specialist of “Right Side” human rights defender NGO Mariam Kurshudyan, presented another important issue of the meeting agenda- the new updated user-friendly website of the NGO.
