“Right Side” human rights defender NGO organizes annual trans-camp for trans community and trans-activists from June 17-19, 2019. The following topics will be discussed during the camp:

Human rights
Stigma, Discrimination
Hate crimes and hate speech
Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights,
HIV / AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections,
Situation of trans people in Armenia
Advocacy

The Camp aims at improving the capacity of the transgender community and improving transgender community involvement in political, social, cultural and public life.

Eligibility
Persons reached the age of 18 who consider themselves as trans-activists or transg persons.

Participation of refugees, asylum seekers, stateless persons or persons with disabilities and sex workers is encouraged.

The traveling, lodging and food costs are covered by the “Right Side” human rights defender organization.
The number of participants is very limited. Application deadline is June 15 at Yerevan time 23.59 incl.
The camp will be held in one of the recreation zones of Armenia: information about the place will only receive selected participants.
