Strengthening Preparedness for Potential Challenges: Right Side NGO’s Three-Day Workshop

From June 3 to 5, Right Side Human Rights Defender NGO conducted a three-day crisis planning workshop with the participation of the organization’s staff.

The workshop aimed to enhance the organization’s preparedness in advance of the parliamentary elections scheduled for June 2026 and to strengthen its capacity to respond quickly and effectively to potential crisis situations.

During the workshop, participants developed the key components of a crisis communication plan, discussed and designed rapid response security protocols, and established mechanisms for solidarity and cooperation with other civil society organizations, networks, and international partners to ensure coordinated action during emergency situations.

As part of the workshop, the team also reviewed the organization’s internal policies and procedures, assessing their effectiveness and relevance in light of current and potential challenges. The discussions identified several areas for improvement that will contribute to strengthening the organization’s institutional resilience and its ability to operate effectively during times of crisis.

The three-day workshop provided an important opportunity for the team to collectively assess potential risks, refine response mechanisms, and strengthen the organization’s preparedness to address emerging challenges in the field of human rights protection in a more coordinated and effective manner.
