The “Rights Side” human rights NGO congratulates Agnes Malkhasyan on obtaining a new passport with a changed name.
We are pleased to inform you that as a result of the legal assistance provided to transgender persons within the framework of the project implemented by the “Rights Side” human rights NGO with the financial support of the “European Endowment for Democracy”, Agnes Malkhasyan can already appear under a new changed passport name in line with her gender identity and expression.

The “Rights Side” human rights NGO expresses its gratitude to the Civil Registration Agency (CRAA) under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia for its conscientious work. The “Rights Side” human rights NGO has been working with the CRAA since 2016 and as a result of their cooperation, the name change process for many transgender persons has been facilitated.

"Iravunki Kokhm" human rights NGO, being the first transgender organization operating in Armenia and the South Caucasus, will continue to support transgender people in solving the problems they face.
