Protection and Support of Sex Workers’ Rights
Within the framework of the program, it is planned to:
- Conduct a training on “Legal Knowledge and Self-Defense”, aimed at providing sex workers with fundamental knowledge on protecting their rights, strategies for personal safety, and self-defense skills.
- Conduct a training on “Digital Security and Privacy”, aimed at providing participants with essential knowledge of cybersecurity, skills for protecting personal and confidential information, as well as methods for maintaining mental and physical safety in the digital environment. The training will also teach participants how to protect themselves from fraud and cybercrime, which are often directed against them due to a lack of information and education.
- Organize community meetings in the organization’s conference hall, which will serve as a safe space where sex workers can share their experiences of difficulties, violence, and discrimination encountered in their lives. These meetings will provide participants with access to legal and psychological support, as well as opportunities to continue their education on human rights, personal safety, and self-defense. The initiative will also contribute to strengthening community ties and fostering a culture of mutual support.
