Right Side Human Rights NGO Announces a Call for Proposals for the Development of Branding and Communication Strategy

Right Side Human Rights NGO invites experienced individual consultants, communication and branding experts, creative teams, and companies to submit proposals for the development of the organization’s branding, social media strategy, and comprehensive communication strategy.

The purpose of this assignment is to strengthen the organization’s visibility, ensure consistent and impactful communication, increase public recognition, and establish branding and communication tools that reflect the organization’s values and mission.

About the Organization

Right Side Human Rights NGO works in the areas of human rights protection, promotion of equality, combating discrimination, legal assistance, and public awareness raising. The organization collaborates with various stakeholders, local and international partners, public institutions, civil society actors, and communities to advance human rights and democratic values.

Objective of the Assignment

To develop a Brandbook, Social Media Strategy, and Comprehensive Communication Strategy for Right Side Human Rights NGO that will ensure a more effective, consistent, and recognizable presentation of the organization’s activities, values, and public role. The assignment should result in practical guidelines, strategic documents, and visual communication tools that will support effective engagement with diverse audiences.

Scope of Work

1. Assessment of the Organization’s Current Communication and Public Presence

The selected contractor shall conduct an assessment of the organization’s existing communication tools and public presence, including:

  • Analysis of the organization’s website,
  • Assessment of social media channels,
  • Review of existing audio-visual and communication materials,
  • Evaluation of current communication approaches,
  • Analysis of engagement, reach, and communication effectiveness,
  • Identification of strengths and weaknesses,
  • Development of recommendations for improvement.

2. Development of a Brandbook

The Brandbook should include:

  • Definition of the organization’s brand positioning,
  • Guidelines for presenting the organization’s mission, vision, and values,
  • Development of key messages,
  • Definition of communication style and tone of voice,
  • Rules for visual and audio identity usage,
  • Development of a color palette and usage guidelines,
  • Selection and usage guidelines for typography,
  • Logo usage guidelines,
  • Definition of graphic elements and visual style,
  • Guidelines for the use of photography and video materials,
  • Standards for branding and publication design,
  • Branding guidelines for social media and digital platforms,
  • Guidelines for presentations, documents, and official materials.

3. Development of a Social Media Strategy

The selected contractor shall:

  • Assess Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms used by the organization,
  • Analyze audience engagement and content effectiveness,
  • Define strategic directions for social media development,
  • Develop key thematic content pillars,
  • Recommend tools for increasing engagement and reach,
  • Define content structure and publication approaches,
  • Develop guidelines for social media management and content creation.

4. Development of Social Media and Communication Templates

The selected contractor shall develop a package of practical templates aligned with the organization’s branding, including:

  • Social media post templates,
  • Carousel post templates,
  • Story templates,
  • Event and announcement templates,
  • Infographic templates,
  • Quote card templates,
  • Visual formats for campaigns and public initiatives,
  • Cover photo and banner templates,
  • PowerPoint and Google Slides presentation templates,
  • Formats for official documents, letterheads, and branded materials.

5. Development of a Comprehensive Communication Strategy

The selected contractor shall develop a comprehensive communication strategy covering the organization’s external and internal communication.

The strategy should include:

  • Communication goals and objectives,
  • Assessment of communication risks and opportunities,
  • Stakeholder and audience mapping,
  • Development of key messages for different target audiences,
  • Organizational positioning and public representation strategy,
  • Media and public relations strategy,
  • Social media communication strategy,
  • Digital communication development directions,
  • Approaches for stakeholder and beneficiary engagement,
  • Crisis communication guidelines,
  • Communication monitoring and evaluation indicators and mechanisms.

6. Development of Communication Guidelines for Partners, Donors, and International Organizations

The strategy should also include:

  • Communication principles for donor organizations,
  • Communication approaches for international organizations,
  • Standards for communication with partner organizations,
  • Communication principles for engagement with state and local self-government bodies,
  • Communication guidelines for communities and beneficiaries,
  • Standards for official correspondence,
  • Email communication templates and formats,
  • Templates for official requests and letters,
  • Templates for press releases, announcements, and official statements.

7. Development of a Content Strategy

The selected contractor shall develop a content creation and management guide that includes:

  • Key content directions,
  • Thematic areas relevant to the organization’s work,
  • Content formats for the website, social media, and other communication platforms,
  • Guidelines for presenting success stories,
  • Approaches for developing and presenting impact stories,
  • Standards for beneficiary storytelling,
  • Policies on the use of photographs and videos,
  • Guidelines for written and visual content production,
  • Content planning and management mechanisms.

Expected Deliverables

Upon completion of the assignment, the organization should receive:

  • A complete Brandbook package,
  • Visual identity guidelines,
  • A Social Media Strategy,
  • A package of social media and communication templates,
  • A Comprehensive Communication Strategy,
  • Communication guidelines for donors, partners, and international organizations,
  • A Content Strategy and implementation guide,
  • A package of practical recommendations for implementation.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or branding,
  • Proven experience in developing brandbooks and communication strategies,
  • Experience in developing social media strategies,
  • Experience working with civil society organizations, international programs, or development projects will be considered an asset,
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills,
  • Excellent command of Armenian and English.
