Call for Applications – Rise & Resonate Influencers’ Meeting

Right Side Human Rights Defender NGO is pleased to announce the launch of the application process for LGBTIQ+ community members who are active on social media and have an impact on their audience.

The objectives of the meeting are to:

• explain why intersectional thinking is essential for social change,
• support participants in better understanding the history of LGBTIQ+ movements and current challenges,
• build the participants' storytelling skills and strengthen the ability to present real-life experiences through media as a way to respond to hate speech and disinformation.

The meeting will take place on August 29 in a safe, creative, and inspiring environment. Participants will have the opportunity to work with experts and collaborate with each other to produce impactful media content.

Who can apply

• Members of the Trans and LGBIQ+ communities
• Beginner social media influencers who are active on their platforms (regardless of number of followers)
• Individuals who are able to participate throughout the whole meeting and create content based on real stories.

• In-depth thematic sessions delivered by experts
• Free transportation, accommodation and meals
• A creative and supportive environment for collaborative work
• A one-time payment of 38,000 AMD (including taxes and mandatory contributions) for each participant in recognition of their creative work.

Preference will be given to applicants who are already addressing LGBTIQ+ topics on their platforms and wish to continue this work in a more structured and impactful way.
