Security and Crisis Management Training for Team Members Inbox
The “Right Side” Human Rights Defender NGO organized a training course on security and crisis management for its team members.
The aim of the training was to strengthen participants’ capacities to quickly navigate different threat environments, effectively assess risks, and respond to crisis situations in a structured and coordinated manner, while reinforcing the organization’s overall resilience.
During the session, key security-related threats were discussed in detail, including physical, digital, and institutional risks, as well as their possible scenarios and potential impact. Particular attention was given to building resilience in the context of pre- and post-election periods, responding to risks arising from anti-gender movements, and addressing cases of targeting against organizations working with vulnerable groups.
At the same time, participants were provided with practical skills and tools aimed at preventing and mitigating these threats, as well as ensuring safe and coordinated action in crisis situations. The training also covered rapid response mechanisms, decision-making processes, and the importance of team coordination.
Through practical exercises and scenario-based simulations, the team had the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained within the framework of potential real-life situations, further developing their ability to respond effectively and act promptly. The training contributed to strengthening the organization’s security level and enhancing its preparedness to face growing crises in a more structured and resilient manner.
