Pansexual and Panromantic Visibility Day Celebrated in the LGBTIQ Safe Space

On May 24, Right Side Human Rights Defender NGO marked Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness and Visibility Day in its LGBTIQ+ safe space. The space not only ensures physical safety for community members, but also provides a space where people can freely talk about their identities, listen to each other, and connect without fear or judgment.
On this day, community members came together to celebrate their identities and share the challenges they have faced especially when their feelings and relationships didn’t fit into “traditional” norms. Many participants spoke about how being pansexual or panromantic had long been misunderstood, hidden, or dismissed both by society at large and often within their own families or even within the community itself.
The event turned into a heartfelt and empowering discussion, where people talked about learning to accept themselves, going through their own journeys of self-discovery, and how spaces like this and days like these have helped them feel less alone, more seen, and more connected.
Celebrating such days in the safe space is not just symbolic it’s an important opportunity to speak openly about love, identity, acceptance, and mutual respect. It’s a reminder that everyone deserves to be loved, seen, and fully embraced for who they are.
