Catalyze Grant

Within the framework of this project, we are going to implement the following activities to promote empowerment, community engagement, and advocacy:

• Advocacy development training sessions tailored for NGO representatives, focusing on building their capacity to effectively address issues related to the LGBTQI+ community.
• An empowerment training program for individuals from diverse backgrounds within the LGBTIQ community, aiming to equip them with the necessary tools to navigate societal challenges and create lasting impact.
• Monthly community meetings over the course of the project to discuss the challenges faced by LGBTQI+ individuals, assess their needs, and explore potential solutions through peer support, expert consultations, and mutual collaboration.
• Commemoration of significant days for the LGBTQI+ community throughout the year with various remembrance events and celebrations.
• Legal research on human rights violations against the LGBTQI+ community, focusing on uncovering key issues and advocating for necessary reforms.
• Roundtable discussions to present the findings of the legal research, creating opportunities for dialogue among experts, stakeholders, and community members to address critical issues and drive forward meaningful change.
